Ancienne r\u00e9dactrice en chef de magazines, ses \u00e9crits ont \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9s dans <em>The Atlantic, Kinfolk, Vogue Italia, British Journal of Photography <\/em>et <em>The New York Times,<\/em> o\u00f9 elle a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 l&#8217;histoire d&#8217;Adrienne Fidelin, le premier mannequin noir \u00e0 para\u00eetre dans un grand magazine de mode am\u00e9ricain. Elle est coautrice de l&#8217;entr\u00e9e de Fidelin dans l&#8217;<em>Oxford Dictionary of Caribbean and Afro-Latin American Biographies<\/em> et d&#8217;un essai sur elle dans le catalogue de l&#8217;exposition <em>Le mod\u00e8le noir de G\u00e9ricault \u00e0 Matisse, au Mus\u00e9e d&#8217;Orsay<\/em>. Sala est une expatri\u00e9e (B\u00e9nin, Br\u00e9sil, France, Italie, Japon, Tanzanie, Tunisie, Royaume-Uni) et une linguiste. Elle est titulaire d&#8217;une licence en litt\u00e9rature afro-am\u00e9ricaine de l&#8217;universit\u00e9 de Columbia et d&#8217;une ma\u00eetrise en \u00e9tudes du d\u00e9veloppement de la School of Oriental and African Studies de l&#8217;universit\u00e9 de Londres. Elle collabore au Harvard Design Magazine, o\u00f9 elle \u00e9crit sur le design et la soci\u00e9t\u00e9, et est enfin vice-pr\u00e9sidente du conseil d&#8217;administration de la Phillips Collection, le premier mus\u00e9e d&#8217;art moderne des
