Sarah Viren

Sarah Viren is the author of To Name the Bigger Lie, a New York Times Editors’ Choice and an NPR and LitHub best book of the year as well as Lambda Literary Award finalist. Her essay collection Mine was longlisted for the Pen Art of the Essay Award and received the Great Lakes College Association’s New Writers Award as well as the River Teeth Book Prize. A contributing writer for the New York Times Magazine and a National Endowment for the Arts Fellow, Viren teaches in the creative writing program at Arizona State University. She is at work on a novel.
