Performance directed by Isabelle Fruleux at Hotel de Tingry
In August 1969, at Woodstock, in an America frozen in its cultural, social and racial divisions, Jimi Hendrix played the national anthem, The Star-Spangled Banner, in a way that swept away many preconceived ideas. The writer Lydie Salvayre reminds us of this libertarian act in Hymn, brought to the stage by Isabelle Fruleux. A musical story that becomes song, prayer, matter and vibration.
