"Vert Terrestre" Exhibition at Hotel de Tingry

Piotr Klemensiewicz, who was an artist in residence in 2008, will exhibit a series of his recent works in green around the perception of landscape and the sensation of nature. Piotr is particularly known for his work on color, which he considers “the main vector of pictorial language”: “colors,” he says, “have their own visual language that silences words.” Entitled “Vert Terrestre”, the exhibition will take place from April 14 to May 30 at the Hotel de Tingry in Ménerbes. Opening on April 16 at 5 pm.

Another exhibition of recent works by Piotr Klemensiewicz “The House in the House” is presented at the Mob our welcome center which is located in the ground floor of the Dora Maar House.

Piotr Klemensiewicz was born in 1956. He graduated from the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Marseille (now ESADMM) in 1979, where he has been teaching since 1986. He lives and works in Marseille and Ongles. Since 1985, he has exhibited regularly in France and abroad, in New York, Montreal, Seoul, Brussels, Istanbul… As well as numerous solo exhibitions in institutions such as the Abbaye de Silvacane in La Roque d’Anthéron, and the Advent Calendar in the Abbaye de Meymac.
