Suzanne Opton was a photographer. She was born in 1945, in Portland, Oregon, and died in 2024 in the Vermont. She used to live and work in New-York, where she also taught in the International Center of Photography. Her soldier portraits, icons of the aftermath of the current wars, have been presented as billboards in eight American cities.
