Ziv Ravitz Trio Concert "No Man Is An Island"

Israeli drummer based in New York for a while and now in Provence (in Ménerbes!), Ziv Ravitz has played with all the talented musicians in the United States and in his native country. A close associate of pianist Yaron Herman, discovered with Lee Konitz and noticed in Shai Maestro’s trio, he has developed a rich and frenzied style of playing that tints the music with percussive colors as much as it energizes and stimulates it, with great mastery. For his first trio under his name, he chose an original instrumental formula, without bass and without piano, which leaves space to his percussive palette and allows his partners, the Italian guitarist Federico Casagrande and the French saxophonist Christophe Panzani, to improvise in complete freedom, in a perfect complicity
