Alice Feiring is a recipient of a James Beard award for wine journalism among many others. Her essays and articles, whether about wine, life and culture, have appeared in a slew of newspapers and magazines including The New York TimesNew York Magazine, Time, AFAR, World of Fine Wine, and she is a regular contributor to the beloved zine, Noble Rot. Known as the foremost champion of natural wine, her previous books include Natural Wine for the PeopleDirty Guide to WineFor the Love of Wine, Naked Wine: Letting Grapes Do What Comes Naturally, and her controversial 2008 debut, The Battle for Wine & Love or How I Saved the World from Parkerization. To Fall in Love Drink This, a wine writer’s memoir is her latest. She is a very proud recipient of France’s Ordre du Mérite agricole. Alice lives in New York in a vintage 4th floor walkup with a tub in the kitchen from which she publishes her Substack, The Feiring Line.
